About Me

Jetta Anderson, CPM

My name is Jetta Anderson (pronounced “Yetta”). I have been supporting families for nearly two decades as they welcome their new little one.

My love of labor and delivery began with the birth of my oldest son in 2002. Isaac was born at a freestanding birth center with the support of a midwife. Giving birth to my first child changed me in so many ways. After Isaac was born, I had the privilege of being trained by a local midwife to be her Birth Assistant. This gave me the opportunity to be with many families as their lives were forever changed. In 2004, I formalized my birth education and completed the Birth Doula training course at Seattle Midwifery School.

In 2009 I had the distinct honor of delivering my nephew when my sister's labor progressed so quickly that the midwife could not make it in time. Delivering my nephew renewed my passion for childbirth, but life had other journeys in store for me first!

In 2010 my husband Chad and I were surprised to find out I was pregnant after years of miscarriages and infertility. We had adopted our daughter, our second child, in 2005, and in 2011 I gave birth to our third child. Due to some complications, Gabe was born at Swedish Hospital with the support of an amazing OB.

I returned to my office job after my maternity leave, while also attending births as a doula or midwives assistant. My desire to serve families was so great that when my family relocated to Arizona in 2016, I finally took the leap and committed to finishing my education to become a CPM and LM.

I am so excited to be able to fully support mothers and their loved ones in my role as a CPM. It is the ultimate use of my knowledge, skills, passion and heart.
